I am please to provide this letter of recommendation for Doug Boebinger. Doug held a regular faculty appointment at Cleary University from July 2004 to February 19, 2006 and reported directly to me during that period.
Doug’s duties at Cleary included Faculty Chair of Project Management curriculum and teaching project management courses. He designed our Project Management BBA degree major (seven courses) and an Advanced Certificate in Project Management, both based on the Project Management Institute’s (PMI)® Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide). Doug created course syllabi and selected all instructional materials.
Doug taught all of the project management courses in this sequence. He is a competent and effective instructor. Student feedback evaluations for his courses were positive and complementary. This was a new program startup that presented challenges due to the new materials, relatively small class enrollments, and difficult class schedules. Doug managed these challenges without complaint and to the satisfaction of our students.
Due to factors outside of Doug’s control, our Project Management BBA did not generate the enrollment needed to continue the offering. The program was discontinued and Doug’s Chair position was eliminated. He continues to teach as an adjunct member of our faculty.
My experiences with Doug have been positive and productive. Doug is a highly qualified project management professional and an accomplished instructor. I have no reservations recommending Doug for potential employment in similar or related positions.
